OBITUARY

Mithi Radler, 79, of Bowen, passed away on Sunday, 5th March, 2023 after losing her battle with cancer.

Mithi's stories, laughter and kindness will be missed and remembered by a very large extended family and friends network from all corners of the world.

Mithi was born on 2nd September 1943 to Eligio and Rufina Marcelo in Manila, Philippines and grew up with 3 sisters and 7 brothers.

Mithi graduated University with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and was happily helping her mother with their family shop in Manila.

In 1943, Mithi met Erhard Radler at her parent's shop, where they decided to elope. Mithi's family then arranged a family Catholic wedding in Manila, shortly before Mithi moved permanently to Australia with Erhard. Mithi and Erhard went on to have their only child, Erica.

Mithi enjoyed many hobbies such as gardening, cooking and various art projects throughout her life. Mithi mostly loved to travel the world with Erhard and Erica, visiting family, friends and sightseeing.

Mithi was predeceased by her husband Erhard Radler, father Eligio Marcelo, mother Rufina Marcelo, sisters Dalisay Roman & Rufina Newell, brothers, Isagani Marcelo, Ruben Marcelo & Eligio Marcelo Jnr. Mithi is survived by her daughter, Erica Matheson, sister Theresa Alano, brothers Dante Marcelo, Mario Marcelo, Roger Marcelo & Fidel Marcelo.
