I am so sad to hear of Aunty Mary's passing. I only have happy memories of Aunty Mary, her kindness and her laughter, and of course the fact that she was born on the 1st of December, the same date as myself and Madison, 3 generations of Baird girls. Our birthday was made extra special because of this. And how she put up with Uncle Dicks snoring all those years but never complained. Haha.
Sending love and deepest sympathies to all the family at this difficult time.

Mary was the best sister-in-law anyone could have. She was a great comfort to me when my husband George(her little brother) was dying. We had some memorable trips together to WA and Canberra to visit her brother John and sister-in-law Cathy.
Mary always had enough love in her heart for all of us and we will miss her greatly.
Our family send their love and condolences to Mary’s big beautiful family. We will be with you in spirit tomorrow. Love always Shan

I have many happy memories of our childhood , Jean , Anne, Mary ,Glen John and George growing at 30 Moy Street, Kelvin Grove. I will always remember Mary and I when we were kids singing Amazing Grace as a duet in the Brisbane City Hall. We had to hang on to eachother, we were so nervous. I went to Blackall to be with Mary when Jeanine was born. We had some happy holidays on Curtis Island with the family. In recent times Mary has been so lucky to have had lots of lovely friends and her devoted family around her in Ball Bay.
R.I.P my beautiful sister.

When I was growing up I spent all of my holidays on Curtis Island with Mary, Dick, Jeanine and Tracey. Mary was involved in everything from fishing to cattle dipping. To me she was much more than a big sister. She was a role model for hard work and care for others. Goodbye my beautiful sister.

So sad to hear of Mary's passing. I worked with her at Peak Downs Moranbah in the nineties. Both she and Dick were down to earth with great sense of humour. And devoted to each other. Lovely lady RIP
