It is with great sadness that we respectfully advise friends and family of the passing of Margaret Strathdee, born 30 May 1944 in Mackay, who passed away on 11th September 2026, aged 82 years.
A dearly beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunty, great aunty and great, great aunty, sister and mother-in-law, and friend, Margaret will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her.
For almost 40 years, Margaret was a dedicated midwife, helping bring generations of local families’ children into the world, forming a special connection with so many in the community she loved so dearly.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend her Funeral Service, to be held at Mt Basset Cemetery on Tuesday, 29 September 2026, commencing at 10:30am.
