Thank you for being a friend ...
We became best friends when we lived apart and we remained like that throughout our friendship - apart but together.
You were all the best things about friendship. You were interested yet unobtrusive, you were consistent, reliable, supportive, helpful and bothered.
You put the energy and life into our relationship - always there through the bumps and scrapes.
I’m going to miss you like mad, but I’m truly grateful to have the memories and the lessons and the sweet moments that accumulate over the lifetime of a rare and precious thing; an enduring friendship xxx
A few days before I managed to get on one of the last flights back to Germany Lynnie and I had made a deal. We promised each other to meet again this year and go on a boat trip together.
It wasn't meant to be.
Instead I have to say good bye now to a very special friend who I will always remember.
My thoughts are with her, with you Steve, and with all her family.
We were together for over 20years and I have so much to thank you for. Together we bought Alex into this world, who has given us both so much joy and that we love so much. You can be proud of your legacy.
Our time together had lots of highlights and fond memories that I will carry for ever.
Thank you for being in my life joirney and being a wonderful mother to our son.
Rest peacefully knowing that I will always be there for him.
Thankyou for everything you brought to my life. I can not tell you how much I will miss talking to you. Each week that I saw you, you would teach me something new. You taught me how to cope as a mum, and were full of advice that I would take on knowing it was coming from a woman I respected and looked up to so much. I loved hearing about your life and your holidays away on the boat. I looked forward to our time together so much. I love you Lynne, and will miss you desperately. You are forever in my heart. Your friend, Lou xxx
It is with great sadness that we learned of Lynne's passing after a very long and excruciating illness.
During the purchase and delivery of your the Bénéteau 46, what wonderful times we had together!
She was a lovely lady to us, always in a good mood and full of humor.
We extend to you affectionately, kindly and sadly our most sincere condolences.
Love,
Caroline and Jean
