Aunty June Womal
Thank you Aunty Junie for being such a loving, beautiful, funny, serious at times comical person.
I definately loved when you told family stories you knew alot of family history and you were captivating to listen bcoz of the knowledge you had and had told to us all.
One story Iād like to yarn everyone was back in the day Aunty Junie was a client of Northern Regional Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Corporation Aged Care and my Dad Johnny Bobbert used to come down to Bowen to do Yard Maintenance services like mowing the clients yards etc & etc..
Always, I mean Always soon as we get to Aunts house, Dad would go straight upstairs and sit on the patio and yarn with Aunty Junie for hours and share with each other there family stories. I really loved seeing and hearing them two laugh, talk silly I mean talk silly and naughty. I really loved the visits with Aunty Junie bcoz I got to hear funny as stories from both Aunty Junie and Dad.
You will be sadly missed Aunty Junie your stories u told will carry on to all the people you had shared them with.
Our Sincere Condolences to all the families.
Love from Shaneen Bobbert and family.
