11 June 1958 to 3 March 2022

John (JD) sadly passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 3rd after a short but fierce battle against cancer.

Beloved Husband of Roslyn. Dearly loved Son of Roy and Patricia (dec’d; Son-in Law of Doreen and Len (dec’d); Brother of Brian and Brother-in-law of Leann. Cherished Father of Shaun and Melissa; Father-in-law of Hamish. Adored Poppy of Miles and Lewis. Great mate and friend to many.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend John’s funeral, to be held at Mackay Whitsunday Funerals and Crematorium Chapel at 209 Shakespeare Street, Mackay commencing at 11am, Friday, March 11.
