Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend James's Funeral Service to be held on Monday the 20th of November, 2023 at the Bowen Christian Family Centre, Bruce Highway Bowen. Commencing at 11:00am. Followed by Interment at the Bowen Cemetery.

    Condolences to all the family. Recently at a church gathering my wife and I was blessed to have sat in front of Mr Power. I didn't realise it at the time as it was a packed service. When the Worship and Hymns commenced I felt the anointing in waves coming from behind me as I heard harmonies and melody being sung; which actually refreshed my soul to the point of tears. At the end of service I turned around and realised who had been worshiping behind me; it was Mr Power. May the peace we draw from our Saviour comfort all the Power family and friends at this time.     So sad to hear of Jimmy's passing. Jim and Gwen made us feel so welcome when we first arrived in Bowen in 1985 for Joe to take up a job at Abbot Point where he was T/a for Jimmy. He was an exceptional tradesman and a true gentleman and we will never forget the kindness they showed us. Condolences to the Family.
