One really cool lady with a twinkle in her eye, a laugh that could light up a room, telling a story as a lesson while holding a glass of wine in her hand. Rest easy dear lady.

Heather & I met at a training course in 1994. We almost instantly relaxed and trusted each other, becoming low maintenance life-long ‘sister-like’ friends. I have only met a couple of her family a few times, but because of our sharing, I feel I know them well. The greatest testament to the ‘gem’ Heather was, is the sacrificial commitment and love her family extended to her during her life and in particular the period she fought her significant health challenges. They are a gorgeous family, and they can take comfort in the knowledge that their love and support created a haven of daily strength for Heather. I also truly loved and admired you Heather, you were a treasure! I am feeling your passing from this earth very deeply, however, I am glad your fight is over and you finally have your total healing. Nothing has the power to remove your handprint and input; it will only grow stronger. We love you.

Very sad news. Condolences to all Heathers family & friends. I was privileged to work with Heather for a few years in Mount Isa. During this time Heather looked after both Louise & myself. As Louise was not in Isa I think she considered herself as mum & made sure I stayed on the straight & narrow. We will miss Heather firstly as a friend & work mate.
