  • Darryl was and will always be one of the nicest people you could ever come across. I am a better person for having the pleasure of meeting him and sadder knowing he has passed because words alone cannot do justice to just how good a person he was. My deepest sympathies to his family for the pain of his passing, you have had the good fortune of knowing him the best and longest which nobody else can ever claim.

  • On your travels. As I told you once before. I thank you for what you taught me.
How to use the sun as a clock.
I remember askin you the time, you checked your wrist watchless wrist. "About 5. Hold on. I'll check."
You squinted at the sun and told me to do the same.
    See the sun beams?
    They are the hands.
Know your direction by remembering quarter to 5.

Before that you had taught me the animals look the direction the wind is coming from. I will go to the QB and have a drink with you when I am back from my travels. You'll be happy to know I found my family and now, I am happy you are with yours who could not be.
Thank you for taking my brother home from school. Thank you for keeping the schools safe. I still do the click you taught me.
    Travel on. Travel safe. 💚🐸
