How do you say Goodbye to Someone who has been such a big part of your life. I was your first grandchild and only granddaughter for a very long time. I was your Transplant as I was called. You taught me so much but the one thing you didn't teach me was how to live without You. You were there for all the good times and most of the bad times too. Now you aren't here to rely on. Love you Grandma, this is not goodbye but see you you later. until we meet again

To me she was always Mrs Alice, I have very fond and special memories of Mrs A, we knew the family from our days on the Scarborough Caravan Park on the Redcliffe Peninsula. John and Alice became great friends with my parents and we spent many times visiting them once they moved off and away from the park. Although much time has passed the fond memories of the Godwin family are still as fresh and filled with happiness. Mrs Alice will be missed greatly, and my deepest of sympathy goes to John and the kids at this sad time.
